Expert SEND support at every stage of the process

Whether you are at the very beginning of the SEND journey or deep into a Tribunal appeal, we are here to help you understand your rights and secure the support your child is legally entitled to.

Every family's situation is different.

Some parents come to us having just received a draft EHCP and needing a second pair of expert eyes before the deadline passes. Others have been fighting for years and need someone to take over and manage the process for them.

Whatever stage you are at, we will help you understand where you stand, what your options are and what the strongest next step looks like for your child.

All of our work is grounded in the SEND legal framework and carried out under the ongoing supervision of specialist education lawyers.

Our EHCP support services

Focused support at every stage

We offer focused support at every stage of the EHCP process. Each service is tailored to where you are right now.

01

EHC Needs Assessment Request

Making a strong EHC needs assessment request is one of the most important steps you can take for your child. We help families prepare clear, legally grounded requests that give the Local Authority everything it needs to say yes.

02

EHCP Draft Check

You have 15 days to respond to a draft EHCP. We review your child's plan line by line, cross-reference your professional reports and return an annotated draft fully prepared for submission to the Local Authority.

03

Annual Review Support

Your child's annual review is an opportunity to make sure their EHCP still accurately reflects their needs and the provision required. We help families prepare thoroughly, challenge outcomes they disagree with and ensure any updated plan is legally sound.

04

Refusal to Assess Appeal

A refusal to assess is not the end of the road. We help families challenge Local Authority decisions, prepare a clear and well-evidenced appeal and navigate the Tribunal process with confidence.

05

Refusal to Issue Appeal

If the Local Authority has carried out an assessment but refused to issue an EHCP, that decision can be challenged. We help families understand the legal test, assess the strength of their case and prepare a well-structured appeal within the required timescales.

06

Content and Placement Appeal

If your child's final EHCP does not accurately reflect their needs, specify the right provision or name an appropriate placement, you have the right to challenge it. We support families through content and placement appeals from the initial review through to Tribunal preparation.

07

Mediation Support

Mediation is a formal part of the SEND appeals process and an opportunity to resolve disputes with your Local Authority before they reach Tribunal. We help families prepare thoroughly, present their case clearly and approach the process with confidence.

08

Working Document Support

The Working Document is a critical part of any content and placement appeal. We prepare, review and manage Working Documents on behalf of families, ensuring every amendment is legally sound and clearly evidenced throughout the Tribunal process.

09

Tribunal Case Management

For families who need comprehensive support throughout the Tribunal process, we take over the management of your case entirely. We handle deadlines, correspondence, evidence submission and hearing preparation so you can focus on your family.

10

Pre-Action Protocol Letter

A pre-action protocol letter is a formal legal letter that puts a Local Authority on notice that you intend to take legal action if they fail to comply with their statutory duties. We draft legally grounded letters that identify the breach and set a clear deadline for the LA to respond.

11

Advice Calls

Sometimes you just need to speak to someone who knows the system. Our advice calls give you a dedicated 30-minute or one-hour session with one of our advocates, grounded in the SEND legal framework, with clear recommendations and a structured plan for your next steps.

12

Benefits Support

Navigating the benefits system alongside the SEND process can feel overwhelming. We help families understand and access the financial support they are entitled to, including Disability Living Allowance, Carer's Allowance and blue badge applications.
