ADVICE CALLS AND EMAIL SUPPORT
Professional SEND advice based on your individual circumstances
Clear and informed guidance and support from experienced SEND advocates to help you understand your position, consider the options available and decide what to do next. All our work is grounded in the legal framework.
More than a listening ear
Our advice calls provide focused, professional guidance based on the specific circumstances of your child or young person. We take the time to understand the issue, the stage you have reached and the decisions you are being asked to make.
Our advocates draw on extensive SEND experience, professional backgrounds across education, health and law, and a detailed understanding of the relevant legislation, statutory guidance and case law.
We also bring lived experience of neurodivergence and caring for children and young people with SEND both professionally and personally, so we understand both the legal process and the practical realities families face.
We explain complex issues clearly, identify the important legal and evidential points and provide an honest assessment of the options available.
Whether you need help understanding a professional report, responding to a school or Local Authority, preparing for a meeting or deciding whether to appeal, you will leave the session with a clear understanding of your position and a structured plan for what to do next.

Is this the right support for you?
An advice call is best suited to families who need focused guidance on a particular issue, decision or stage of the SEND process. It provides an opportunity to understand your legal position, discuss your options and identify practical next steps
An advice call may be suitable if:
you need help understanding a decision before deciding what to do next
you are preparing for a meeting or annual review and want to understand your rights
you want an honest assessment of your position before pursuing an appeal
you need help interpreting professional reports, correspondence or decisions
you have specific questions about an EHCP, provision, placement or process
This may not be the right service if:
you need grounds of appeal or other substantial documents to be prepared
you require a full review of a draft or final EHCP
you need a Working Document to be prepared or managed
you require full management of a SEND Tribunal appeal
you need ongoing communication with the Local Authority or professionals on your behalf
your circumstances require extensive evidence review, case preparation or hearing representation
Where more comprehensive support is required, we will explain which service is likely to be most appropriate.
